Three-dimensional Air-curtain®

Highly Nakano has historically used the technology of double air-curtain systems, consisting of an outer and an inner air-curtain operating at different speeds. Now a recent initiative added a 3rd air curtain, forming a “Three Dimensional Air Curtain System®” especially designed for cooling displayed food.
This unique and advanced technology enables our showcases to keep food at a stable temperature, opening up a new field for more efficient refrigeration.

1. Outer Air Curtain
   Prevents outside air from entering the showcase, reducing the negative effect of ambient temperature on the cooling load of the showcase.
2. Inner Air Curtain
   Prevents outside heat from entering the showcase, so as to maintain a stable temperature.
3. Rear Breeze® Producing Additional Cooling Effect on Displayed Food
   Prevents radiated heat from causing temperature rise on displayed food and maintaining a desirable food temperature by cooling it directly.

Electronic Ballasts for All Fluorescent Lamps (Standard Component)

Advantages of Electronic Ballasts

2. Improved service period of fluorescent lamps (Two times longer than that of iron core ballasts).

Comparison of 36W Fluorescent Lamp Power Consumption

Standard Components

Compared with iron core ballasts, electronic ballasts reduce power consumption by 13%.
For example, 36W fluorescent lamps with iron core ballasts require 47W of electric power while the same lamp with electronic ballast requires only 41W.

Compared to an 8ft multi-deck showcase using iron core ballasts, the same showcase with electronic ballasts can save energy consumption by approx. 375kw/h a year.

Bumper Protection

The showcase is protected from damage at ground level by a dual density resin bumper.

Anti-corrosive Bottom Plate

Anti-corrosive stainless steel plates adopted for case bottoms.

Large Size Drain Screen

Drainage cleaning and inspection are improved with larger drain screen.

Anti-bacteria Paint

The inside is coated with a reliable abrasion and corrosion resistant anti-bacterial paint.

Removable Honeycomb Outlet

This has honeycomb design to improve airflow and facilitate periodical cleaning operation.

Earthing Terminal

Shelf consoles are equipped with earthing terminals to ensure safety.
